Moodis Milano Architetti Associati / Milan, Italy
An intimate space like a living room but official, mediated between classicism and Italian modern fashion style. These were the client requests moves to the architects of Moodismilano, Simona Dentone and Fabio Magri. The Alessandro Oteri flagship store is also the head-quarter with its offices behind and the showroom in the basement. The two shopwindows are an open space and a visual contact with the entire inner surface. The eye is induced by the ribbon blue wall to pass through all the space and to go towards the focal point of the shop space. The architects have rebuilt a Milanese interior 'fin de siecle', made of stucco, colour-scheme of gray and pastel-blue, walnut aged hungarian parquet. Warm colors for the Meritalia sittings and nickel plated steels making the ambience soft to the public. The space reserved for the insiders on the ground floor and the entire surface of the basement have parallel color-scheme of white, magnolia, white satin metals and extra clear crystals.
