Equens offices

by Cushman & Wakefield / Milan, Italy

A fluid and clear layout

Equens is one of the largest payment processor in Europe. In February 2013 Equens launched a tender to select a real estate provider able to guarantee an integrated service to both search and design their new offices in Milan. The tender was won by Cushman & Wakefield and the choice fell on a recently renovated building boasting modern design and flexible spaces: the Affori Centre in Milan. The layout of the new offices features an extensive use of open-plan spaces and collaborative areas creating an innovative and flexible office environment where Equens employees are able to use meeting and training rooms and informal areas (such as the break-area and kitchenette), all equipped with the highest technology and systems. The corporate colours visually identify the different routes and operational areas where both the layout and materials create a welcoming space promoting cooperation among people. Great attention was given to the use graphics which highlight key words and images of Equens business. Lastly, the use of light colours on walls, desk tops and carpet flooring help create the image of an office made of fluid and clear spaces where sharing the experience of work becomes pleasant.
