contemporary language

Lagrange 12 is a Building Group project for the external and interior recovery of the historical palace on the corner between Via Lagrange and Via Giolitti, in the center of Turin, considered the new pedestrian street and the shopping area where Luxury brands such as Miu Miu, Prada, Trussardi, Moncler, Cucinelli, Italy Independent, they have recently opened their flagship store. Thanks to this intervention the nineteenth-century building will be back to its original stateliness with the total renovation of the six floors above ground and two underground. A total area of 3500 square meters, eight apartments and shops with large sizes, two-floors, of European inspiration.

In collaboration with Pininfarina, Lagrange 12 will speak a contemporary language signing the apartments interior design. For the first time in Italy Pininfarina brings a living style already successfully implemented worldwide. The residence presents a neoclassical plant on an existing sixteenth century structure, with unusual details due to internal restructuring interventions of the second half of the twentieth century, including a flat roof which offers a panoramic views of the Turin roofs, from the hill to the Alps, on the timeless beauty, from Superga to the Mole, from the Monte dei Cappucini to the new skyscrapers of Renzo Piano and Massimiliano Fuksas. Until a few years ago, the building housed the command of the municipal police; now, owned by Lagrange Twelve LTD. Exteriors and interiors were designed with the same concept of giving back to the city the living spaces enriched by artistic elements, which had already inspired the Building Group for the recovery of Palazzo Valperga Galleani, in via Alfieri 6. For this building, renamed The Number 6, had been commissioned to Richi Ferrero contemporary artworks, always accessible to the public through the open courtyard. All works are the result of a high-level design that leads to combine historic architectural interior spaces quality with high engineering with the realization of the underground parking decks. Cutting-edge solutions to optimize the ecological building impact; geothermal and complete automation of Heating / cooling of all environments, improving efficiency with the use of advanced radiant ceilings and speakers for the treatment and air recirculation with control of the internal humidity degree. A focus is also on the acoustic comfort of the environments through the use of sound absorbing materials both in the floors and in the partitions, in order to make pleasant stay in the apartments
