The relentess advance of the on-line commercial offer, puts the designers to reset the business planning solutions. Against this and the searching for the last best price, the need is to offer not only a sale but an emotional event: a “shopping experience”. In the design of the showroom CR Service we tried to create spaces that accomodate the customer: reception, angle bar, two areas with sofas, bookcases with magazines and collector cars from view. Of course there are also the necessary services for carrying out the activity such us: office, storage area and carhouse area. The aim is to get away from the cold and inflated stereotype of the dealerships usually in aluminum and glass. The materials are personal and warm, sometimes poor (steel, gauge block walls and beaten floors of cement) sometimes refined (patchwork of various wood essences, onyx bar, bronze and gold wall backligted). The ultimate goal is to characterize the interiors of an anonymous “milanese” commercial building with elements of strong impact: the metal ceiling of hospitality creates an environment more welcoming as well as allowing the passage and, as well as the giant walls of the garage, by Markus Haub, meet as a new layer over the existing box. Small details or deliberately strong choices that put the customer at ease in a new and challenging environment.
